Description

• Supporting trading flow • Configuring new clients • Performing morning checks • Monitoring alerts • First point of contact for escalation of issues • Incident management – communication, resolution, problem management • Taking full ownership of issues, tasks and ad-hoc queries, maintaining records, testing deliverables and ensuring closure to the satisfaction of the requestor. • Working as part of a wider global team using a ‘follow the sun’ model • Understand trading flow for all Equities business areas • Work to on-board new clients • Work to introduce and support new flows • Assisting colleagues in Global Technology, outsourced technology service providers and product vendor support functions as appropriate to resolve issues spanning all BTIG offices.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience • Understanding of FIX • Understanding of Equities markets • Working in a front office environment within financial institution • Problem solving skills – logical, critical thinking. • Good interpersonal skills. Building effective and strong relationships with colleagues and external partners with the ability to facilitate collaboration. • Ability to listen and to fully appreciate the impact of any issue from the perspective of each and every colleague. • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written skills with people at all levels of seniority. • Time management – able to manage competing demands. • Ability to work independently • Ability to multi-task • Ability to prioritise
