• Lead the UK Finance function with responsibilities for the general ledger, AR/AP, and all reporting systems while ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal management reporting requirements • Manage monthly financial close in a timely and accurate manner, including preparation of reconciliations of all revenue and expense accounts, fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, journal entries, review of inventory, and variance analysis • Work with Accountants on the Finance team to evaluate, develop, and implement accounting policies and controls, including documentation and technical memos • Work closely with Facility Operations teams for routine 4-wall location reporting & analysis, including budget vs actual reporting, while ensuring completeness and accuracy • Manage revenue recognition and master the order to cash/delivery process • Manage annual audit and tax filings with external firms • Manage equipment leases and accounting for operating and capital leases • Partner with department leaders to understand key issues and business drivers and run point on financial models and forecasts, and increase efficiency of periodic reporting • Build, forecast against and maintain annual budgets
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in corporate finance; accounting, CFA or CPA is a plus but not required • Knowledge of and experience with ERP systems and implementations; Netsuite, Brex, Coupa, SAP, would be a plus • You can learn extremely fast • Excellent written & verbal communication • Extreme attention to detail • Bachelors and/or Masters in Accounting/Finance/Economics
