Description
• Lead financial reporting, tax compliance, and accounting for Assala Energy’s head office-managed companies. • Prepare and review monthly management reports, quarterly consolidations, and annual audited group statements. • Lead short- and medium-term cash forecasting, manage foreign exchange and debt facilities. • Ensure accurate and timely submission of VAT returns, corporate tax filings, and transfer pricing documentation. • Manage the renewal of operational insurance policies. • Collaborate with internal teams, external auditors, tax consultants, and banks. • Manage a London-based team of two direct reports and oversee an outsourced finance team based abroad.
Requirements
• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within the Oil and Gas industry. • Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards. • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and reporting. • Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel. • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior management. • Fluent in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
