Description

• Join our team as a Network Security Engineer • Contribute to maintaining a secure network infrastructure • Ensure security for Cisco, Arista, and Fortinet tooling • Conduct proactive assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement improvements • Monitor and analyse network traffic and security logs • Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits • Collaborate with system administrators and application owners • Act as a stakeholder for the response team and providing expert guidance

Requirements

• Existing, or eligibility for HMG Security Clearance (you will need 5 years minimum of UK addresses) • Extensive experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco, Arista, and Fortinet tooling • Strong knowledge of network protocols, architectures, and best practices • Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems • Experience with network segmentation techniques, VLANs, and access control methodologies • Exposure to using vulnerability scanning tools • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate security risks • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
