• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new customer facing products and features. • Develop scalable and high-performance web applications and components for both frontend and backend. • Implement and maintain internal APIs for seamless integration between frontend and backend systems. • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following best practices and coding standards and and take ownership of QA to ensure robust, secure applications. • Troubleshoot and debug issues, optimising application performance for both cost-effectiveness and quality, and ensure security best practices are followed. • Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces. • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather and refine specifications and requirements. • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, promote knowledge sharing, and ensure high development standards across the organisation.
• You have strong leadership skills with a track record of operating and working in high-performing engineering teams • You have proven experience with Nuxt/VueJS (or similar e.g. Next/React) • You have experience with Kubernetes and micro services • You can comfortably debug a distributed system e.g. using distributed tracing • You have an API-first product mindset: you care about customer outcomes and you like to listen to their use-cases before diving into code • You have demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing complex projects across frontend and backend domains • You are driven and curious. You ask questions and you strive to understand • You understand that the team will have different strengths. You’re happy to learn from them and to share your expertise. • You are comfortable with the pace, ambiguity, and the need to be a self-starter that comes with working in a start-up.
