Description
• Utilise advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyse large datasets, extract insights, and build predictive models. This could include data pre-processing, feature engineering, model construction, and evaluation. • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Stay up to date with the latest developments in data science and technology and help drive innovation within the organisation. • Communicate complex findings and insights to stakeholders through compelling data visualisations and reports. This could involve using tools like Power BI or custom-built dashboards. • Demonstrate exceptional consulting skills and the ability to build strong working relationships both with our clients, and the wider team at DAS.
Requirements
• Degree or Masters in a quantitative discipline (for example statistics, economics, data science, computer science, mathematics, engineering, or physics). • Ability to build relationships across a wide stakeholder’s group such as product, data and analytics, data science, marketing, and sales. • Analytical techniques for extracting insight from a variety of data sources. • Demonstrable experience working with a variety of machine learning methods. • At least one statistical/coding programming language (e.g. Python, R, Java, C++). • Visualisation of complex data using products such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, R Shiny, DASH etc.
