Description
• Development of software for large-scale quantitative research operations • Multi-year project to provide a powerful, scalable, and efficient platform • Ownership of unique technical challenges inherent in the problem • Bringing solid experience and perspective to the team
Requirements
• Minimum of 7 years writing production-quality code in C++ on Linux platform • Strong understanding and experience with Linux system programming fundamentals • Capacity to develop large-scale, distributed systems • Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, high-performance application design, and concurrency patterns • Self-motivated and able to work independently • Proficiency in English • Experience with Python development is a plus • Experience in developing systems for managing and performing computation on large-scale graph data • Familiarity with streaming/dataflow systems • No prior experience in financial services required
