Description

• Responsible for the day-to-day operational efficiency of Velocity’s cloud infrastructure and services ensuring it meets the needs of the business • Develop, enforce and update policies for how employees and users access cloud services • Monitor efficiencies and usage, and assess the immediate needs of capacity or updates • Partner with the Cloud Engineer(s) and IT leaders to ensure that all the Velocity systems are integrated and working seamlessly

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional or educational experience • Scripting experience / Basic programming skills • VMWare Experience: vSphere, vCenter, Horizon View • Experience and/or exposure to cloud-based platform solutions, preferably Azure • Knowledge and technical experience with Microsoft Windows Desktop and applications (O365) as well as Microsoft Windows Servers applications (SQL, SCCM, AD) • Working knowledge of network services such as DHCP, DNS, NTP, SMB, SAML • CompTIA Net+ Certification or equivalent highly preferred
