• In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in expanding Upfield’s footprint within the foodservice sector, particularly with major National Distributors such as Bidfood & Brakes. • Your mission will be to leverage the technical, category, and culinary strengths of our market-leading brands to increase penetration and drive significant business growth. • Develop and implement commercial proposals to drive maximum growth and profitability, utilising complex sales models, investment structures, and rebate strategies. • Collaborate with the Account Controller to develop and manage a comprehensive contact plan with customer sales teams at both national and regional levels, working closely with external customers within buying and sales groups. • Attend customer sales meetings, depot visits, and end-user meetings, sometimes alongside customer National Account Managers. • Represent Upfield at national and regional trade shows, showcasing our portfolio and building brand presence. • Work closely with marketing, technical, and culinary teams to craft compelling selling stories across the Upfield portfolio. • Use external sales data to monitor performance and identify growth opportunities within Bidfood and Brakes.
• A deep understanding of the UK/I foodservice industry, particularly with key players like Bidfood & Brakes. • Proven experience in commercial and sales roles, with a strong ability to build impactful proposals and negotiate effectively. • Ability to work independently, with a high level of accountability and a proactive mindset to make quick decisions and operate efficiently. • A commitment to driving meaningful change in the food industry, contributing to the growth of Upfield’s plant-based brands.
