Description
• Develop, maintain and monitor credit strategies across the customer lifecycle - we are building products that are not industry standard and therefore you will be expected to understand the broader product goals, identify appropriate data sources and then test and learn continuously to build strategies • Work closely with data engineers and product teams to automate credit decisioning • Work closely with the commercial teams to ensure credit risk requirements are considered while building new propositions and introducing new channels/segments • Model customer profitability to optimise pricing strategies • Build and improve tracking of business performance to enable identification and monitoring of current and emerging risks and incorporate learnings to improve credit strategies
Requirements
• Experienced in a credit strategy setting and leading a key analytical function for volume credit products such as Credit Cards, Consumer Loans, and micro SME lending • Advanced knowledge of Excel as well as one of the following programming languages: R, SAS, Python, SQL - you will have to be highly hands-on and code on a daily basis • Educated to a degree level or above in Statistics / Mathematics / Econometrics • A deep understanding of the full credit lifecycle combined with a very high level of commercial awareness • Exceptionally strong analytical skills and an ability to think from first principles -we are looking for confident technicians who have sound grounding in analytical credit risk and are not afraid to tackle new problems • Confident communicator, with demonstrable experience of having delivered insight and strategy to a variety of both technical and non-technical stakeholders
