• Lead a high performing team, providing them with clear goals and direction. Work to inspire, empower, motivate, and develop them, fostering an inclusive environment where they can perform at their best. • Develop and implement strategies to drive creative excellence, innovation, and ensure these deliver on time and on budget. • Conduct regular reviews and critiques with team to maintain a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the Marketing Leadership team and the wider business, ensuring the creative department delivers strategic and impactful creative solutions. • Develop and manage the budget across the department, ensuring fiscal responsibility and efficient resource allocation. • Analyse performance of the department, its processes, and workflows to assess its ability to deliver against company objectives. • Work with the Creative Director to uphold high standards of creative output, ensuring that all work delivers against expectations and industry best practices. • Implement and optimise production workflows to ensure seamless and efficient processes from ideation to final delivery. • Implement quality control measures and continuous improvement processes. • Identify opportunities for automation, technology integration, and process improvement to enhance productivity. • Oversee the allocation and management of resources, including people, equipment, and technology, to meet project timelines and objectives. • Work closely with production to balance workloads and address resource constraints. Ensuring prioritisation and rephasing of work where needed. • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and creative innovations to keep the agency at the forefront of the industry. • Encourage a culture of experimentation and exploration within the creative team. • Upskill the department to ensure they have the capability to deliver data driven, multi-variant campaigns and can optimise in real time, throughout the campaign period. • Ensure the department is structured to deliver company growth, and support performance marketing and agile campaign responses.
• A senior leadership role within an internal or external creative agency or related field. Demonstrable success in building high-performing teams and delivering creative excellence. • Fiscal management across a significant budget. • Leading and managing a team. • Deep understanding of creative and production processes, including design, advertising, branding, and digital media. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence at all levels. • Strategic thinker with a keen business acumen and the ability to align the department’s efforts with broader organizational objectives. • Excellent project management skills, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget. • A passion for delivering outstanding creative work.
