Description
• We are looking for an experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our growing dApps Engineering unit. You’ll work on our primary NFT Marketplace (Kanvas) which means creating NFT projects for the likes of Manchester United and creating features to release and improving existing services. • It’s an opportunity to join an existing team whose key focus is solving complex challenges to build new features and enhance the technology used all around the ecosystem. • Being part of this project means you'll be at the forefront of blockchain innovation and have the chance to collaborate directly with some exceptionally talented Engineers in the field. It's a chance to contribute to a cutting-edge product while staying grounded in a supportive environment.
Requirements
• Extensive experience working with TypeScript on modern frameworks (React, NodeJS) in a serverless environment • Extensive experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases, from schema design to production-level optimisations • Expert level experience in designing and managing large, scalable, high throughput, highly available and fault-tolerant systems • Set medium-term strategic technical direction and look ahead 6-12 months and identify improvement areas • Anticipate technical issues at a product level and make architectural decisions to avoid them. • Ability to reduce complexity of projects and processes to get more done with less work to amplify effectiveness and productivity on an organisational level • Experience mentoring engineers • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a collaborative team • Comfortably navigate collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. • Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems • Strong computer fundamentals (e.g. algorithms, data structures and concurrency)
