Description
• Provide administrative, sales, and service support to Thorlabs Measurement Systems Sales Department. • Prepare and send quotations to customers. • Support Operations and Sales Department by preparing reports, presentations, proposals, and correspondence. • Ensure all invoices are approved and/or generated & distributed on a daily basis. • Receive and process purchase orders while ensuring accuracy. • Assist with coordinating shipments, both domestic and international, as well as to tradeshows and exhibitions. • Communicate with other Business Units regarding sales and data information management. • Generate and maintain forms and documents for customers.
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar and progressive position preferred. • High School Diploma or GED. Associates Degree preferred. • Experience with ERP Systems • Exceptional customer service skills • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and communication tools • Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedures manuals, routine reports and various correspondences. Preferred experience working in an MRP System • General knowledge of and enthusiasm for science
