• Design, implement and own a scalable Quality Management System (QMS) tailored to a startup environment. • Implement and oversee quality control processes at partner facilities, including incoming material inspections, in-process checks, AQLs, and supplier audits. • Be the first point of contact and lead root cause analysis for any quality issues. • Define, design and implement test methods and appropriate controls across the value chain. • Work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with a talented and passionate team.
• Demonstrable experience in quality engineering, preferably with a background in both large industrial manufacturing and startup environments. • Strong understanding of quality management systems, supplier quality management, and continuous improvement methodologies. • Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, DOE, and Lean Six Sigma. • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead root cause analysis and drive corrective actions. • Highly adaptable and proactive, with a strong focus on delivering results. • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality. • Innovative mindset with a passion for improving processes and driving efficiency. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing relationships and negotiating with external partners and internal stakeholders. • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment. • Passion for combating the plastic pollution crisis.
