• The Digital Solutions team's main purpose is to ensure that all digital campaigns are planned and activated in the most effective way, respecting the readers’ experience and delivering results that matter to clients. • This is a brand new role within the Digital Solutions team that will be entry-level, and we’re looking for a self-motivated, proactive and creative individual to help support the team in delivering the above goals. • You will be working closely with our Ad Operations and Project Management to help develop our creative display advertising offering. As competition between publishers for client budget increases, the quality of ad creative becomes all the more important • You will be building variations of adverts within existing platforms in order to help drive an increase in both the quality of ad creative and level of service to clients • You will be making full use of our creative reporting capabilities to draw conclusions, and therefore actionable recommendations, in order to go above and beyond a client’s needs • You will be responsible for building/testing creative mocks/new formats in a creative studio, the ad server and also an on-site testing environment • You will be working closely with Sales to ensure that, through TMG’s ad creative services, we can capitalise on any potential growth with our clients • You will be helping to manage campaigns from a creative point of view, always looking to test, optimise and consult based on outcomes - driving positive results for our clients • You will be sharing best creative practice across internal teams - becoming a ‘champion’ in this area and shaping this role over the short/medium term; utilising the skills that you’ve acquired in this role • You will also be working with internal marketing teams (subscriptions, commerce) to help inform their creative strategies through rigorous creative testing, tweaking and optimising • You will be supporting the ad operations team as and when required to assist with campaign delivery
• Team player with a solution focused and customer-centric attitude - this role will be partially external-facing • Be able to think and work holistically • You should be able to pick out trends and patterns from multiple data sources • Act as a consultant to both internal and external stakeholders; this role will be crucial in helping to increase the overall value of campaigns • Ability to manage and maintain performance in a fast paced environment with many competing demands • Strong prioritisation, organisational and time management skills • Process driven with the ability to set, monitor and support existing workflows • Ability to innovate and to translate concepts/creative ideas into workable actions • Energetic, flexible approach with an ability to professionally manage both internal and external relationships, and to effectively respond to any challenges that these may represent • Pro-activity in identifying new opportunities and taking responsibility for these • Excellent written communication skills; an ability to write in a consultative manner is strongly desired • Outstanding verbal communication skills • Ensure that you’re able to adapt easily to changes and is resilient • Ability to quickly learn and master various dashboards/user interfaces • Experience in account management, marketing or media planning/buying is of interest • Experience with ad creative/a creative interface is of interest
