Description
• Responsible for shaping and building a suite of products that let users model and operate their business more efficiently • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, test, and ship great code daily • Lead large technical projects for global impact • Directly contribute to core interface design and write code • Arbitrate critical decisions considering software best practices, Stripe system realities, and stakeholders’ preferences • Launch new products in collaboration with partners and customers
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience as a software engineer • Entrepreneurial mindset • Enjoy data modeling challenges and maintaining expressive yet simple solutions • Comfortable working on frontend and backend technologies • Experience with a wide variety of technologies and systems • Ability to stitch together different services and processes • Focus on crafting great user experiences • Thrive in a collaborative environment with various stakeholders • Preferred: Experience in systems engineering, reliability, security, and observability on large-scale testing • Preferred: Prior knowledge in financial technology space, particularly in payment processing
