• Full lifecycle design and development of mechanical systems for demonstrators, prototypes and aircraft. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including aerodynamics, structural analysis, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems into the overall aircraft design. • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in mechanical system design, manufacturing techniques, and design software to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• 2 to 4 years in relevant aerospace industry as a mechanical design engineer. • Rooted engineering fundamentals in core disciplines such as design, stress and fatigue and damage tolerance. • Proficiency in 3D modelling with aerospace graded software such as Siemens NX and/or CATIA. • Relevant workbenches: part and assembly as a minimum. • Proficiency in 2D drawing generation. • Basic understanding of common manufacturing and assembly techniques for both metallic and composites parts. • Basic understanding of design relevant processes driven by EASA Part 21, and FAA regulations. • Design thinking - problem-solving and understanding the global picture.
