Description
• Engage and nurture the Nextflow community, serving as the main point of contact in your region and increasing active community participation. • Represent Seqera in regional conferences, meetups, and events, resulting in increased brand visibility and community engagement. • Organize and execute impactful community events, leading to a significant increase in participation and positive feedback. • Deliver compelling presentations and demos that effectively promote the technical merits of Nextflow, nf-core and other Seqera products, resulting in increased adoption and usage. • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions to increase technical fluency and self-sufficiency among community members. • Assist in providing timely and accurate technical support, resulting in a high satisfaction rate and a decrease in unresolved technical queries.
Requirements
• Postgraduate degree in Biology, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Experience working with Nextflow • Experience delivering presentations and conducting training sessions. • Ability to articulate and promote technical concepts effectively. • Experience designing and executing projects as part of a small team, with supervision. • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities. • Willing to travel and keen to develop a network across cultures and geographies
