• Manager Air Operations UK & EU • Responsible for supporting UK and EU Teams for all things air related • Primary responsibility for UK and EU based flights teams, including alignment and adherence to established KPI’s and metrics within global flights policy • Maintaining contact with airline partners within the region to ensure appropriate targets are established and met • Coordinating directly with market leaders in reservations, finance, sales and markets commercial teams to foster collaboration and ensure their needs are met • Representing Global Flights department in UK and EU markets • Coordinating with other department leaders to ensure alignment and support • Soliciting feedback and concurrence on potential procedural changes • Working with local commercial and finance teams to ensure compliance • Coordinating with Air Product and Pricing areas on specific market requests • Meet or exceed departmental KPI’s • Partake in contract growth and expansion • Identifying cost saving opportunities • Coordinating with Operational Colleagues to ensure contract adherence • Identifying spillage for tickets not booked in accordance with agreements and flagging for follow-up • Establishing continuous communication with Global VP, peers in other markets and local colleagues
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience • Minimum of 2-years management experience with direct reports • Proven experience in air supplier relations within the travel industry • Solid operational and data analysis background • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail • Familiarity with finance processes and experience in managing payments and budgets • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities with varying hours • Knowledge of global airline industry practices and flight regulations • Exceptional knowledge of Sabre & Travel Industry automation • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team • Call center background helpful
