• Joining Relation Therapeutics as a Data Scientist, Computational biology, you will be an essential member of our multidisciplinary team working closely with machine learning scientists, machine learning engineers, data engineers, and experimental scientists. • Your role is pivotal in advancing our strategic priorities in computational biology. • Your contributions will be instrumental in charting new frontiers in omics, and working with data from biobanks and clinical trials, including our proprietary Osteomics clinical trial. • You will be identifying key data types, statistical methods, and tools, and staying at the forefront of bioinformatics methods for modern omics technologies. • Your technical leadership will be crucial in developing our in-house bioinformatics data infrastructure, ensuring that Relation’s platform remains a leader in data-driven drug discovery. • Based at our headquarters in central London, you'll tackle the unique challenges presented by our scientific approach and demanding data processing pipelines.
• PhD in computational biology, human genetics, statistics, bioinformatics, computer science, or another quantitative discipline; or equivalent industrial experience. • Demonstrable track record of delivering complex data science-driven projects. • Proficiency in software development using Python, with upwards of 2 years of industry experience. • Experience in at least one of the key domain areas of statistics, human genetics and omics. • Familiarity with modern software engineering practices, collaborative tools, and CI/CD. • Openness to engaging in machine learning projects and a willingness to develop skills in this area as needed.
