• We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented technical business analyst to join our team delivering new features on the National Rail Enquiries digital channels. • The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background (especially around APIs), excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage and communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of new features. • They will also support the team in the release of measurement frameworks to the business customers.
• 2+ years of experience in a technical analyst role, with a focus on API development and integration • Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP APIs as well as XML • Experience with API management tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar. • Knowledge of web services, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies. • Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data formats (JSON, XML). • Knowledge of security best practices for APIs. • Use of Jira for project tracking and issue management. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems. Ability to interpret complex technical information and translate it into actionable insights. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience of explaining complex technical deliverables to both technical and non-technical business customers. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
