• As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will be commercially focused and responsible for overseeing all aspects of revenue recognition, sales metrics analysis, and gross margin analytics for the group • Play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, driving revenue optimization strategies, and providing insightful guidance to key stakeholders. • Develop and maintain revenue recognition policies and procedures in compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS15, USGAAP) • Review contracts and sales agreements to ensure proper recognition of revenue streams • Analyze gross margin performance for professional services engagements, pre, during and post deployment • Establish and monitor key sales performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of sales and delivery strategies and initiatives • Lead the development of revenue forecasts and budgets based on historical data, market trends, and business projections • Partner with Sales Operations, Customer Success, and Product teams to drive cross-functional initiatives aimed at revenue growth and customer satisfaction • Continuously assess and enhance revenue accounting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability • Stay abreast of regulatory changes and accounting standards updates related to revenue recognition, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks • Finally, it's also about ensuring the are processed correctly.
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified accountant • Extensive experience in revenue accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a software or technology company • In-depth knowledge of revenue recognition principles, including IFRS15, and experience applying them in a software/SaaS environment • Solid proven understanding in tax compliance and optimization through distribution agreements and transfer pricing • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all level • Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices in revenue accounting • Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting techniques, and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce Kimble)
