• An experienced healthcare writer who is skilled in their craft, • Drafts copy for iterative projects based upon fully written pieces • Reviews med-legal feedback and provides strategically based recommendations to client • Adheres to brand guidelines and style sheets provided by editorial • Works independently with medical writer and strategist • Partners with an art director to develop compelling creative concepts • Presents tactics to the internal team and to client • Attends Creative meetings and internal meetings for assigned brands • Archives completed copy documents in iMeet • Maintains up-to-date copy documents throughout project lifecycle • Thoroughly understands product category and competitors • Able to articulate how the disease works and the story of the brand • Remains focused on details but seeks understanding of bigger picture of clients’ objectives • Supports senior writers on new business pitches as needed • Proactively seeks to understand the greater process of the agency
• Bachelors’ degree • 2 years in healthcare writing to a target audience • An appropriate portfolio • May require travel domestically and/or internationally including overnight stays • Copywriting • Independent research • Knowledge of Windows OS platform, including Microsoft Word • Bachelors’ degree’s major in English, Writing, Business, or similar
