Description

• Design and develop automation software • Design and develop systems and procedures for software testing, automated build and deployment • Provide technical supervision to other members of the team • Work with suppliers and other team members to evaluate new test equipment • Analyse test data to identify stability issues and propose improvements

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering or similar • Strong understanding of electronics and its core principles • A strong ability to solve technical problems with many different variables • A strong ability to work to tight deadlines and progress multiple projects simultaneously • Ability to work independently and part of a team • Examples of using Python, LabVIEW or similar, to remotely control instruments • Experience in developing web applications in Python using Django • Experience in using a statistical analysis tool such as Minitab, JMP or R • Source Code Control using Git or SVN • Familiarity with SQL databases and using scripting or software tools to access, manipulate and analyse data • Experience in technical supervision • Experience in leading projects • CI/CD experience advantageous
