Description
• Develop user-facing web applications with rich interactive features in support of applications at the cutting edge of scientific visualization, CAE and CFD • Design and develop web applications that solve complex problems in applying machine learning to design and engineering • Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development • Work closely with our simulation engineers, data scientists and customers to develop an understanding of the physics and engineering challenges we are solving
Requirements
• 3-6 years experience Experience in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, Responsive Design, and general Web 2.0 techniques in the context of interactive web applications • Experience with at least one JS framework and core principals of modern SPAs (state management, routing, component organization, etc.) • Strong HTML and CSS skillset with the ability to implement detailed designs • Comfort with full-stack application development. You should have an overall understanding of how features extend from the browser back to the database • Excellent collaboration and communication skills - with teams and users • Enthusiasm about building web applications for science and engineering
