Description

•A Salesforce Engineer works with the product teams to develop software products in line with the project management goals. •Contributes to the design and development of any work needing to be done by the team with regards to Salesforce. •Ensures that code is in line with the general ethos and approach to development of the Salesforce platform. •Build and support new and existing Salesforce applications using technologies such as Apex and Lightning Web Component. •Actively contribute to the adoption of strong software architecture, development best practices, and new methods and frameworks. •Translate business requirements into effective technical designs and implementation. •Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects encountered during various stages of project delivery.

Requirements

•Experience developing on the Salesforce Platform using both declarative and coded solutions. •An understanding of Lightning UX and configuring Salesforce for agent efficiency, using standard Salesforce features and Lightning Components. •Experience using a development IDE such as VSCode or IntelliJ. •Experience using Git or an equivalent source control system. •Experience in using integration technologies such as REST and SOAP. •Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or equivalent demonstrable experience •Jira and Confluence •Nice to have: •Exposure to development on Service Cloud implementations •Exposure to development on Marketing Cloud implementations •Exposure to Salesforce DX source format and usage of Salesforce CLI for both development and continuous integration •Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
