• Lead the preparation and consolidation of the group’s annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and other relevant standards. • Manage the annual report cycle, coordinating with external auditors and stakeholders to ensure timely completion. • Provide input into Board & Audit Committee papers on financial performance and key accounting issues. • Assist in the production of statutory financial statements for legal entities. • Provide expert guidance on technical accounting issues, staying updated on changes in accounting standards. • Own the accounting processes for IFRS 16, share-based payments, and derivatives at month-end. • Liaise with senior management, external auditors, and regulatory bodies to communicate financial performance. • Support the development and strengthening of the Group’s internal controls and processes. • Contribute to the Group’s budgeting and forecasting process, including for UK Corporate legal entities. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and provide financial insights.
• ACA/ACCA qualified Accountant • Ideally 5-7 years PQE within a listed IFRS Group • Experienced executing and delivering at pace with high attention to detail • Good organisational skills, prioritisation and effective project management mindset • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including preparing board papers) • An analytical and problem-solving mind-set to understand, challenge and ask the relevant questions • Proactive and enthusiastic approach • Ability to work with senior management & stakeholders across varying functions • Workiva / Planful system experience is an advantage, but not essential
