Description

• Manage daily financial transactions and maintain accurate records • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting • Handle accounts payable and receivable processes • Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports • Support month-end and year-end close processes • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies • Assist in the development and implementation of financial procedures • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow • Assist with onboarding & offboarding of new employees • Assist with recruitment and screening of candidates • Conceive new ways to improve employee engagement and morale • Support with administrative tasks across various departments in the business e.g. HR, recruitment, marketing, etc.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a finance/HR role, ideally in a standalone capacity in a small start-up environment • Strong organizational and multitasking skills • Ability to work independently and take initiative • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) • High attention to detail and accuracy • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines • Positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile
