Description
• The CDD Onboarding Analyst is a vital role within Modulr responsible for executing processes related to Money Laundering/Terrorist Financing, Fraud, Sanctions, and other Financial Crime risks • Play a major role in leading and shaping the first line Risk & Compliance function for onboarding new clients • Tasks include CDD checks, AML and adverse media screening, ownership structure reviews, risk assessments, policy reviews, and occasional compliance audits with clients
Requirements
• Track-record in delivering results in a fast-moving business • Excellent stakeholder management experience • Experience with onboarding businesses operating in multiple sectors • Ability to understand and suggest amendments to company policies and procedures • Comfortable with guiding partners and offering compliance related advice • Structured and organized to handle immediate compliance tasks and long-term projects • Analytical with the ability to assess risks and define appropriate controls • Inquisitive mind and proactive approach to issue resolution • Comfortable working in an early-stage business with frequent changes • Strong interest in FinTech and financial crime
