Description
• Lead a team of Linux Engineers responsible for maintaining and improving the platform powering Jane Street's production trading systems • Start as an individual contributor, develop strong technical understanding, and transition into a managerial role • Support and thrive in an environment focused on values like honesty, cooperation, and problem-solving • Expected to learn OCaml, the language of choice, and collaborate in various areas including project management, partnership facilitation, and service delivery
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills • Track record of supporting individuals and fostering team growth • Experience in building partnerships and firm-wide coordination • Proficiency in Linux, Unix, shell scripting, and network protocols • Programming experience in any language • Fluency in English
