Description
• Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies and campaigns that tie into business calendar • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, VIPs, stylists and agents • Write and distribute press releases, lookbooks, and other PR materials • Bring an established network of media journalists, media contacts, stylists and industry peers • Develop and maintain the company’s PR calendar and media list • Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to align PR efforts with broader marketing strategies and content plans • Drive and coordinate features, media / press inquiries + interviews • Monitor media coverage and provide regular reports and analysis • Be responsible for VIP guestlist for brand events and activations • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform PR strategies • Manage and host in house staying appointments • Act as a brand ambassador, representing Jaded at industry events and networking opportunities • Manage crisis communication and develop contingency plans
Requirements
• An extensive network within Gen-Z sector, including direct connections and relationships with senior media across fashion, consumer/lifestyle, news editors as well as stylists, photographers, influencers, and models etc. • Considerable experience with a proven track record of running PR in-house within fashion / lifestyle brands in the UK, with a focus on the Gen-Z audience • A degree in Business, Fashion, Communications, Marketing or Journalism, or equivalent professional experience • Strong interest in fashion, music, and consumer trends • A proactive, hands-on attitude, with strong organisational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously • Confident in networking and being proactive / thinking outside of the box to secure press placements • Keen attention to detail and results orientation • Creative and agile thinking, comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including press releases and media pitches
