• Part of a small, focused team delivering robust services within Global Relay’s platform. • Directly design testing solutions for web applications and API services. • Support release and testing efforts while maintaining automated coverage and frameworks. • Define and automate test cases verifying product requirements. • Write code for automated frameworks and tests. • Contribute to decisions in test framework architecture and design. • Participate in test execution, issue identification, and resolution for release. • Maintain test infrastructure and tools. • Participate in team planning and story grooming. • Conduct code and test reviews to improve quality of automation code and test coverage. • Document automation framework, tools, and infrastructure.
• Minimum 3 years of automation development experience. • Strong understanding of Java and object-oriented principles. • Experience with testing practices in an agile environment. • Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit. • Experience testing backend systems or APIs. • Testing performance with JMeter or similar tools is an asset. • Knowledge of web services technology such as REST, JSON, or Thrift is an asset. • Experience testing web applications with Selenium WebDriver. • Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, MongoDB, Kafka, or SQL is an asset. • Understanding of network principles and protocols such as HTTP, TLS, and TCP is an asset. • Experience with continuous integration systems like Jenkins or Bamboo is an asset. • Knowledge of continuous delivery concepts is an asset.
