Description
• Work as part of a small team of human genetics and software engineering experts. • Build the platform to derive new insights into human biology and drug development. • Leverage coding expertise and research science background to enhance methods and prototypes. • Implement solutions that are robust and highly scalable.
Requirements
• Ability to write high-quality code in Python using modern software development practices. • Strong quantitative background in a scientific field and ability to analyze large-scale data sets. • Experience running tools and workflows on a Linux-based high-performance computing (HPC) environment. • Good to have: Experience in application of novel statistical methods and/or statistical programming languages like R. • Knowledge of automated testing, building, and deployment practices. • Direct background in handling genetic data or use of bioinformatics tools.
