• Design and implement security solutions to protect systems, networks, and data, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and encryption technologies. • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability tests to identify potential risks and weaknesses. Develop strategies to mitigate these risks and implement corrective measures. • Respond to security incidents, conduct thorough investigations, and provide detailed reports. Work to contain and mitigate the impact of security breaches. • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards such as GDPR, and ISO 27001. Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines. • Continuously monitor security systems and networks for unusual activities and potential threats. Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure the integrity and security of systems. • Work closely with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into system design and development. Provide training and guidance to staff on security policies and practices. • Maintain detailed records of security incidents, changes, and updates. Prepare regular reports for management on the state of security and risk management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field. • Proven experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar role. • Strong understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization. • Knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, and software development security. • Experience with AWS cloud security. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
