Description

• Build software that helps to make Fresha services highly scalable and fault-tolerant • Ensure our platform services have the required levels of up time and quality of service • Contribute to the design, implementation and maintenance of our observability and monitoring solutions • Maintain Kubernetes ecosystem at Fresha • Design reliable Cloud infrastructure, implement reusable cloud-uptime components as code • Enable product teams to self-service, participating in the development of a developer platform • Participate in processes related to detecting and resolving production issues • Support product teams in building services that comply with our standards • Participate in on-call and support duties • Participate in SRE guild meetings and discussions to drive the SRE and Cloud practice forward • Keep up to date with technology and industry changes • Spread the SRE culture

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS • Professional experience in managing Kubernetes clusters • Experience in building Kubernetes operators • Professional experience building the infrastructure of web-scale online applications & services (how to measure, monitor, and assess their health) • In-depth knowledge of infrastructure as code, Terraform • Professional knowledge of scripting languages like JS, Python or Ruby • Ability to plan and deliver small engineering projects • Creative thinking and problem-solving mindset • Ability to interact with people from across the business and build strong relationships, including the ability to influence upwards effectively • Self-starter and proactive approach • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment
