• Work closely with artists to research and develop new innovative graphics features • Writing scalable and reusable code with performance in mind • Maintain, extend, and optimise existing engine or game-side features • Ensuring overall build performance and stability throughout all stages of development • Taking ownership of features & documenting the work accordingly • Mentoring more junior members of the team
• Several years’ experience developing AAA console/PC titles • DirectX12, AGC or other explicit rendering API knowledge • Excellent HLSL or similar shading language skills, understanding of RDNA ISA • Expert in modern C++ and strong overall software engineering and debugging skills • Multithreaded development and debugging experience • Keeping updated with recent advancements in rendering technologies • Excellent 3D maths and problem solving skills • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills • Ability to modify and extend existing complex systems • Experience with profiling and identifying CPU & GPU bottlenecks using industry standard tools • Significant and up to date knowledge of the GPU pipeline
