Description

• Fasanara Digital seeks a Front Office Developer for high-frequency trading in cryptocurrencies. • Design, implement, and optimise trading algorithms and infrastructure. • Develop and maintain high-performance trading algorithms and infrastructure using Java and C++. • Collaborate with quantitative researchers and traders to translate trading strategies into scalable software solutions. • Optimise memory usage and resource allocation in trading systems to maximise performance. • Conduct thorough testing and validation of trading algorithms in simulated and live environments. • Monitor market conditions and update trading algorithms for competitiveness. • Stay updated with industry trends and provide mentorship to junior developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related quantitative field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on high-performance Java and C++, preferably in a high-frequency trading environment or at a top-tier financial institution. • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and memory optimisation techniques, with a proven track record of developing memory-efficient software solutions. • Proficiency in quantitative mathematics and statistical analysis, with experience in implementing mathematical models and algorithms for trading and risk management. • Experience with cryptocurrency markets, trading platforms, and blockchain technology is a plus but not required. • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. • Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
