Description
• Collaborate closely with the data team to refine and enhance the existing data warehouse and data pipeline architecture. • Advance and optimize data marts, ensuring robust, efficient, and scalable data models. • Leverage expertise in data engineering and analytics to drive development of sophisticated data integrations and analytics solutions. • Contribute to the improvement of ETL/ELT processes, focusing on automation, efficiency, and reliability. • Engage in proactive knowledge sharing, mentoring, and collaboration on advanced SQL, data science, and data engineering best practices. • Champion data governance and data quality initiatives, setting new standards across the organization. • Promote and advocate for a sophisticated data-driven culture, influencing decision-making and strategic directions.
Requirements
• Significant experience in data engineering and analytics with deep understanding of advanced data warehouse concepts and practices. • Proficient in cloud environments, particularly GCP, with strong grasp of associated data services and tools. • Skilled in developing and managing ETL/ELT pipelines, ideally with experience in dbt. • Familiar with best practices in software development, including CI/CD, TDD, DDD, and product thinking, balancing perfection with pragmatism. • Adept in various programming languages and technologies, including SQL and Python.
