• Assist the Senior Counsel on a broad spectrum of legal work at Elliptic across EMEA, Americas, Singapore and Japan. • Own some of your own contract negotiation and seize the autonomy to build relationships directly with stakeholders. • Negotiate commercial agreements commensurate with your experience, particularly SaaS customer standard terms, supplier and partnership agreements in accordance with our playbook and with the support of the Senior Counsel. • Provide ad hoc support to the Senior Counsel on non-commercial legal matters, such as providing research assistance. • Support the Senior Counsel to business-partner with our global (United Kingdom, Americas, Singapore and Japan) Commercial teams. • Support the Senior Counsel to advise colleagues of the key contracting issues, in a way that is appropriate for where our business is in its growth journey. • Own and manage our standard contracting document stacks. • Bring your own ideas to help improve the efficiency and automation of legal operations.
• It is great if you have relevant experience but it is also okay if you have not worked in-house, are not a qualified solicitor or have not worked in a growth business. • Cultural fit to our values and your relationship with our Senior Counsel and our commercial team are just as important. • You will care about your colleagues and our business, have a willingness to roll up your sleeves, clear any blockers and work collaboratively to enable our growth. • We want you to grow with us, so we are looking for someone that can do what we need now but also has the potential to be more and do more.
