Description
• Joining EG’s Systems Infrastructure team responsible for all layers of technology in the environment • Initially focus on day-to-day system administration and supporting end-user systems • Growing into working on other parts of systems infrastructure over time and managing large projects • Participating in a 'flat' team approach with exposure to design, implementation, operation, and support for the environment • In-office role based in Covent Garden office in London, including physical responsibilities and periodic regional travel • Opportunity to make an impact on daily operations and oversee larger infrastructure projects if thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
Requirements
• Undergraduate degree in CS, EE, or related field • 1-5 years professional experience in a technology-related field • Superb communication skills • Able to manage projects independently • Quick learner of new platforms and technologies • Proficient in server administration in Windows and/or Linux • Experience in scripting/programming (e.g., Powershell, Python, Bash) • Knowledge in mobile device management controls, videoconference and phone systems, desktop support across multiple operating systems, and high-touch end-user support • Familiarity with Windows and Active Directory administration, email system administration and support, security/compliance controls, public cloud (particularly AWS), database administration, and financial industry experience
