Description

• Using this tech stack: Java, Scala, Kafka • Ideating and implementing interesting features for our customers • Working and collaborating with our Product team to ensure our customer experience is flawless • Working with our front end teams (React / Typescript) using Rest, GraphQL and OpenAPI to ensure seamless integration with our UX • Working with our Customer Success team to ensure our systems are operationally robust for the most mission critical customer requirements, and manageable at enterprise scale • Bringing your engineering experience to improve our overall code quality, tools and processes. Actively contributing to the development of best practices within the team is important to us as we are always open to new ways of working

Requirements

• You must have worked with a JVM based language, one of Java, Kotlin or Scala • You have familiarity with Object Oriented and Functional software paradigms • You have some familiarity with cloud based deployments and Docker / Kubernetes • You have worked with some aspects of Apache Kafka in production • You are naturally curious and eager to always be learning and improving. One of our core company values is “we learn” • You’re highly collaborative, enjoy helping others in both your immediate and wider teams and actively contribute your ideas and thoughts to meetings and brainstorming sessions • You have excellent communication skills; we value giving feedback and contributing both verbally and in writing • You care about emerging trends and technologies in server-side and cloud based development
