• We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead Software Engineer to join our dynamic Infrastructure Engineering team, focusing on enhancing security infrastructure and optimizing developer experience. • You will be responsible for leading a team of talented engineers, driving the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust security solutions while also ensuring a seamless developer experience across our software development lifecycle. • You'll lead efforts to fortify our software supply chain against vulnerabilities and threats, ensuring the integrity and trustworthiness of our software products. • You will also be responsible for designing and implementing solutions for fortifying our runtime environment in AWS and Kubernetes, including automation for AMI hardening and orchestration of OS patches. • You’ll work horizontally across the Infrastructure and Security teams, closely collaborating with Engineering leadership and the company’s CISO to design the Security Infrastructure team’s roadmap. • You’ll also draw up technical project designs and execution plans and be involved hands-on in the implementation of these projects. • You’ll also advocate for developer-friendly security solutions, providing tools and resources to empower Clear Street’s engineers to make informed security decisions. • In doing so, you will champion a culture of security awareness and best practices among developers, promoting a proactive approach to addressing security concerns.
• At least ten (10) years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on software supply chain security. • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go, and experience with DevOps tools and practices. • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). • Experience with Git principles and command line • Proven leadership skills, with experience leading and mentoring engineering teams. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
