• Responsible for several CGD’s product development projects, technology projects and public-funded projects, including interaction with external partners or suppliers • Supporting the project management team and help to constantly improve project management procedures • Coordinate cross-functional teams focused on delivering new or upgraded products • Support projects through all phases from concept and requirements to completion, including tracking and evaluation of project performance, using state-of-the-art project management methodologies and tools • Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and within accepted quality metrics • Responsible for project review and status meetings and communicating project status • Support and maintain project documentation
• Masters’ degree with an engineering or science background • Previous experience working in a similar role • Knowledge of semiconductor or power electronics development for automotive • Experience with automotive requirements for product development and qualification • Comprehensive knowledge of project management • Comfortable in a fast-paced, start-up environment • Willing and able to travel and work with partners in Europe, Americas and Asia • Strong organisational skills • Strategic thinker with practical skills and experience • Motivated by nature, responsive to changing needs of the projects and business • Excellent spoken and written communication skills • Formal project management training • Knowledge of power electronics development for automotive • Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2/PMI would be an advantage • Experience with UK or European public-funded industrial research projects
