Description
• Responsible for supporting business on legal, risk and compliance matters • Overseeing contracts, insurance renewals, GDPR compliance, risk register, and Cyber security • Collaborate on corporate compliance matters and assist in policy development
Requirements
• England & Wales qualified lawyer/solicitor with at least 3 years PQE • Strong understanding of contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance principles • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously • Sound judgment and decision-making skills, with a keen attention to detail • Highly motivated, self-starter who takes initiative and works with a sense of ownership • A team player that will be happy working in a relatively flat structured and agile team • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of tools • Ability to handle confidential or sensitive matters • Previous in house experience would be advantageous • Experience in the Private Equity/Venture Capital Industry is advantageous
