Description
• Set, communicate and execute on the vision and strategy for the Recommendations Group • Collaborate directly with the recommendations team to deliver customer-focused improvements and identify research and experimentation strategies • Work cross-functionally with engineering, data science, machine learning and acquisition teams to identify opportunities to improve marketplace performance • Take ownership of product innovation and defining opportunities for incremental growth • Work collaboratively across both product collectives, brand teams and functional businesses areas to drive the business and product strategy • Manage and communicate with the leadership team to ensure full transparency and alignment on the strategy and required resources to deliver • Establish and evangelise a culture of iterative ML-driven product development together with internal partners
Requirements
• Proven product experience delivering ML-driven recommender systems & marketplaces • Have led products across all stages of the product life cycle in a fast paced, high-growth environment, balancing short-term improvements and long-term strategic goals • Experience working with and educating cross-functional teams and stakeholders in data science, analytics, product management, design, and engineering • 7 + years of experience in product management • Analytical or engineering background • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal • Knowledgeable and curious about modern data science approaches
