• The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating the integrity, accuracy, and performance of data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. • Design, develop, and execute test strategies and test plans for Azure-based data solutions. • Validate data pipelines, ETL processes, and data storage solutions to ensure data accuracy, performance, and scalability. • Perform functional, integration, and regression testing of Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database). • Collaborate with data engineers and developers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects. • Utilize Azure DevOps for managing test plans, test cases, and defects tracking. • Create automated test scripts to ensure continuous validation of data pipelines and workflows. • Conduct performance testing to ensure that the data solutions meet required performance benchmarks. • Perform data validation and ensure data consistency between source and destination systems. • Generate and review test reports, and provide insights to ensure high-quality delivery. • Ensure that data security, privacy, and governance policies are adhered to during testing processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • 3+ years of experience in data testing, with at least 1 year of experience in Azure data services. • Hands-on experience with Azure data tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure SQL Database. • Proficient in SQL for data validation, transformation, and extraction. • Experience with test automation tools for data testing (e.g., Selenium, Postman, PowerShell). • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline integration and test management. • Strong understanding of ETL processes, data lakes, and data warehouses. • Experience with API testing and data governance frameworks. • Solid understanding of data privacy and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.). • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
