Description

• As a Senior PostgreSQL DBA, ensure existing database applications work at any scale • Involved in high availability setups, extensions development, automation, optimizations & reporting • Improve and optimize architecture and suggest improvements to processes and structures • Troubleshoot PostgreSQL issues and propose/implement fixes • Advise development teams on database best practices • Custom extensions building and maintenance (C, SQL, PL/pgsql) • Maintain and develop data pipelines (C, SQL, PL/pgsql) • General maintenance tasks, operation monitoring and incident management • Writing queries and optimizing existing ones

Requirements

• Proven experience as Administrator of heavily-loaded PostgreSQL databases • Good understanding and experience in C • Knowledge or willingness to learn Go • Knowledge of any automation tools (we use Ansible) • Solid research skills • Experience with distributed environments
