• You'll maintain the presentation layer of our data warehouse for reporting and analysis. • You'll build well-tested, up-to-date and documented data models. • You'll work closely with Data Analysts and BI specialists to understand their reporting needs. • You'll proactively spot opportunities to improve the design and performance of our data warehouse presentation layer. • You'll support long-term data strategy planning, collaborating with the wider company. • You'll set standards for building and delivering datasets while promoting data governance practices.
• You have experience working as part of a data team, preferably in roles such as an Analytics Engineer or Data Engineer • You are comfortable adopting data engineering best practices, including version control and using Git, and you have experience teaching others how to embrace these best practices. • You're an SQL whiz! You know how to write SQL that is easy to understand, simple to troubleshoot, and highly performant. • You have a solid understanding of data modelling best practices and database design. • You possess a strong knowledge of modern programming languages, including Python. • You communicate effectively with stakeholders and are passionate about enabling them to access data. • You're a high performer: you connect to our high-performance principles • You're mission-driven: you care about positively impacting the lives of millions • You’re always collaborating: you place team success over personal success and you enjoy working in an open, collaborative environment. • You demonstrate responsible ownership: when you see something not working, you'll flag it and be part of the solution • You seek continuous improvement: you’re always developing new skills and insights, while exploring ways to do things better • You’re mindful of balance: you're conscious of your own health and that of others.
